Basic Principle of Democracy

Main idea or the basic idea of a democratic government is the recognition of human nature, which is basically the same people have abilities in social relations.  Based on these basic ideas there are 2 (two) fundamental principles of democracy, namely:
   1. Recognition of citizen participation in government, such as elections for representatives of the people directly representative institutions, universal, free and confidential and Jurdil; and
   2. Recognition of nature and human dignity, such as the existence of government action to protect human rights for the common interest.
